Huge thanks to Rachele Shea at Basingstoke Voluntary Action for organising the session and bringing together such an engaged group of local charities.
Our own Barbara Payne and Sarah Ford delivered the session, and over 90 packed minutes we covered a huge scope: the fundamentals of digital marketing, practical hints and tips, and plenty of “things to tackle” that attendees could take straight back to their organisations.
At Digital House, we believe great digital marketing shouldn’t be out of reach for the charities doing such important work in our community. Sessions like this are our way of giving something back. A big thank you to BVA for making it happen.
If your charity or organisation would like to know more about getting started with digital marketing, we’d love to hear from you.

A few weeks after the session, this five star Google review from attendee Crissy Ryan appeared on our profile. It sums up everything we hoped the morning would achieve, so we are sharing it here in full.
★★★★★
“The free digital marketing workshop for charities & the voluntary sector was absolutely excellent.
It surpassed all my expectations in the quality, breadth & depth of tactical, data-driven social-media advice given in a whistle-stop tour in very digestible bites.
It has transformed my thinking / practise of fund-raising / recruiting / for several charities / volunteer conservation groups I help publicise.
I’m so impressed with the ethics of sharing their top tips & strategies to local charities / volunteers, with the sole motivation to save them from making expensive mistakes / recruit & fund-raise.
What an high quality outfit Digital House is.
Thank you so much Sarah & Barbara; your advice was invaluable 🎉💕.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company to anyone requiring digital marketing assistance.”
