CASE STUDY

A Trust-First Website for an All-Female 24-Hour Locksmith in Brighton

BACKGROUND

Lady Locksmith is a family-run, all-female mobile locksmith business that has served Brighton, Hove and Sussex since 1999. Led by Carol, it offers 24-hour emergency call-outs, lock fitting and repairs, security upgrades and lock changes for people who have just moved in, with an average arrival time of thirty minutes and no call-out fee.

Locksmithing is a trade where the customer is often locked out, stressed and searching on a phone, and where the fear of being overcharged is real. The website had to turn that moment into a call to Lady Locksmith rather than to whichever national lead-seller came up first.

CHALLENGE

The site had to make three things obvious within seconds: that Lady Locksmith is local, that it can be trusted, and how to call it. Everything else was secondary.

It also had to earn search visibility across a wide patch, from Arundel to Seaford, against heavily advertised competitors.

SOLUTION

Digital House built the site on Joomla with a calm pink and white design and the phone number at the top of every page. The home page states the promise plainly, fast, local, available 24/7, and backs it with Checkatrade and Google review scores, police and insurance approval, and a line customers remember: the locks are never replaced unless necessary.

Service pages cover lock fitting and repairs, emergency call-outs and just-moved-in lock changes, with fourteen area pages for the towns and neighbourhoods served, a six-question FAQ, a quick enquiry form and embedded Google reviews. Digital House later set up the blog and a series of search-led articles, such as what a locksmith costs in Brighton and finding a female locksmith.

RESULTS

Lady Locksmith has a website that reads as trustworthy at a glance and a structure built to appear for locksmith searches across Sussex.

CONCLUSION

When the customer is standing outside a locked door, the website has one job. This one does it, and the area pages and articles keep bringing new people to it.

It is the site behind much of Digital House's locksmith marketing experience, alongside the locksmith SEO service.
